HoodEngage Configuration Versioning, Publishing & Extended Variables Support
December 22, 2025
This release delivers long-awaited configuration versioning and publishing, expands how variables and filters can be used inside configurations, and improves overall reliability and usability.
Features
Configuration Versioning & Publishing
You can now manage and deploy configuration changes more safely using built-in versioning and publishing. With this update, you can:
- Create versions of your configuration whenever changes are made
- Clearly label versions with names and descriptions
- Review all available versions directly from the configuration view
- Publish a selected version when you’re ready to make it live
Only one version can be published at a time, giving you clear control over what is active in production. Depending on your workspace settings, publishing can be handled manually or automatically.

Extended Support for Variables and Filters
Configurations now support a broader and more flexible use of variables and filters, making it easier to fine-tune behavior across different scenarios. This improvement allows you to:
- Reuse dynamic values more effectively
- Apply more precise filtering logic
- Build configurations that better adapt to different audiences, conditions, or environments
This provides greater control and expressiveness when working with complex setups.
