HoodEngage & AdEx Updates: Audience Controls, API Extensions & Raw Data Transparency

This release introduces finer audience targeting controls, expands API capabilities for Dynamic Macros, improves raw delivery visibility, and strengthens overall platform stability. In addition, several UI refinements and important bug fixes ensure a smoother and more predictable experience across HoodEngage.

Features

• City-Level Filtering for Push Tasks
  Push task audience filtering now supports Cities in addition to existing Country and Region filters. This enables more granular geographic targeting and greater campaign precision.

• Dynamic Macro Records – Remove via API
  Added a new API endpoint that allows removing records from Dynamic Macros programmatically. This complements the existing record creation endpoint and provides full lifecycle management of macro records through the API.

• Delivery Failure Reason in Raw Data Logs
  Raw delivery logs now include explicit failure reason fields:

  • delivered_status_code
  • delivered_error_code

  This improves transparency and enables more accurate performance analysis and troubleshooting of push delivery issues.

• Dark Theme Button Support
  Completed the rollout of newly designed dark-style buttons across Ocamba applications for visual consistency and improved UI clarity.

• Custom JS Tag Icon & Cleaner Edit View
  Added a dedicated icon for Custom JS tags and removed the unnecessary back button in edit mode for a cleaner and more intuitive experience.

Bug Fixes

• Fixed incorrect default integration behavior on cancel
  Canceling the “Set as default” action in Email/SMS integrations no longer applies the change unintentionally.

• Resolved configuration reload issue from Experiments view
  Fixed an issue where opening a modal from Experiments caused persistent drawer states and disabled publish actions after reload.

• Segment row resize functionality restored
  Users can now properly resize long segment name cells to view full content.

• Improved error state when linked Configuration was removed
  When editing a Macro that references a deleted Configuration, the affected record now clearly displays an error state with an explanatory message.

• Profile List redirection behavior corrected
  Clicking a profile ID from Profile Lists now opens the profile page correctly in a new tab instead of being hidden behind the popup.
