What is Hood?

Hood is the engagement layer of the HoodEngage platform. It helps product, growth, and marketing teams orchestrate customer journeys, send targeted messaging, and measure impact across web and mobile. Use Hood to create audiences, build multi‑step flows, and deliver the right message at the right time.

Prerequisites

  • An active HoodEngage account with access to Hood.
  • Project configured in the platform and at least one environment (e.g., Production, Staging).
  • SDK or tracking integration set up for your app or website (see Integrations below).

Quick start

  1. Connect your app: follow the platform‑specific guide under Integrations.
  2. Define events and attributes: ensure key events (signup, purchase, etc.) and user properties are tracked.
  3. Create an audience: segment users by behavior or attributes.
  4. Build a journey: design steps, triggers, and branching logic.
  5. Launch and measure: start the flow and monitor performance in Analytics.
